In short: this website places no cookies. We use no first-party, analytics, advertising or social media cookies. There are no forms, no sign-ups and no statistics tools. That is why you will not see a consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.

The one exception is the Google Maps map in the "Find us" section, which is not loaded automatically: it stays switched off until you expressly press the button to view it. If you never press it, Google receives no data about you from this website.

What cookies are

Accessing a website may involve the use of cookies. Cookies are small amounts of information stored in the browser used by each user — on the various devices they may use to browse — so that the server can remember certain information which will later be read only by the server that placed it. Cookies make browsing easier and friendlier, and they do not damage the browsing device.

Cookies are automated procedures for collecting information about the preferences a user expresses during their visit to the website, in order to recognise them as a user, personalise their experience and use of the website, and, for example, help identify and resolve errors.

The information gathered through cookies may include the date and time of visits to the website, the pages viewed, how long the user spent on the website, and the sites visited immediately before and after it. However, no cookie allows contact with the user's telephone number or any other personal means of contact. No cookie can extract information from the user's hard drive or steal personal information. The only way for the user's private information to form part of a cookie file is for the user to personally give that information to the server.

Cookies that make it possible to identify an individual are considered personal data. They are therefore subject to data protection legislation. Accordingly, the user's consent is required in order to use them. That consent is to be given on the basis of a genuine choice, through an affirmative, positive decision, before any initial processing, and it must be revocable and documented.

Cookies used by this website

First-party cookies

These would be cookies sent to the user's computer or device and managed exclusively by the website owner in order to make the website work better.

This website places no first-party cookies. It also uses no local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) or any equivalent tracking technique. The fonts and all other page resources are served from our own server, so browsing involves no connection to third-party servers.

Analytics and advertising cookies

This website uses no analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) and no advertising or profiling cookies of any kind.

Social media cookies

This website includes links to the pharmacy's Facebook and Instagram profiles, but it embeds no social media plugins or buttons, so simply browsing the site stores no cookies from those platforms in your browser.

If you choose to click one of those links you will leave this website and go to the relevant platform. Those platforms have their own data protection and cookie policies and are themselves responsible, in each case, for their own files and their own privacy practices. Users should refer to those policies for information about those cookies and, where applicable, about the processing of their personal data. For information only, the relevant policies can be consulted here:

Embedded third-party content: the map

The "Find us" section offers a Google Maps map. Because that content belongs to Google and loading it would involve placing third-party cookies and disclosing your IP address to that company, the map is not loaded automatically. A notice with a button is shown instead.

The map is only activated if you press that button, which constitutes a clear affirmative act of consent, limited to that visit. From that point onwards Google's privacy and cookie policies apply. Alternatively, you can use the "Open directions in Google Maps" link, which takes you straight to Google's app or website without embedding anything in this page.

Disabling, refusing and deleting cookies

Users may disable, refuse and delete cookies — in whole or in part — installed on their device through their browser settings (for example Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge). The procedures for refusing and deleting cookies may differ from one internet browser to another, so users should follow the instructions provided by the browser they are using. Should you refuse the use of cookies — in whole or in part — you may continue to use the website, although the use of some of its features may be limited.

Changes to this policy

Should first-party or third-party cookies be added to the website in the future, this policy would be updated and an appropriate prior consent mechanism would be put in place. We recommend reviewing this page from time to time.

If you have any questions about this policy, you can write to us at info@farmaciasenlinea.es or consult the legal notice.
